I’ve been passing several church job opportunities on to my readers recently and today I’ve got another one to share! This position is not that of small group pastor (as the others have been). Instead, it’s an executive pastor role.
The church is in Rochester, New York and it’s called Browncroft Community Church. Here’s a quick overview of the position: the church is currently running about 1400 per weekend. They would really like a younger candidate– maybe 35-45 – who is experienced as an executive pastor. The need for internal systems and infrastructure are high so this individual will get to do a lot – develop and manage staff, build communication systems, align ministries, etc. He could even fill in the pulpit if he is gifted/motivated. Also, this individual will not just be an implementer of the vision, but will work with an open, forward-thinking, collaborative Senior Pastor in the formation of the vision. Influence is at a high level here. This is a great opportunity for the right person, but it is clearly not an entry level gig.
Oh yeah, someone who is passionate about missional living would be ideal as well. You may be wondering how to apply. Just download the opportunity profile here and follow the instructions for submitting a resume. Have fun!
