Finding the right video curriculum for your group is sometimes difficult because there’s so much stuff out there. I’ve worked with BlueFishTV.com in the past to create video curriculum and during my tenure at LifeChurch.tv we created tons of video curriculum, but today I’m excited to tell you about a totally different kind of video curriculum from Creative Trust Media.
Recently, a friend named Greg Bowman introduced me to Convergence. For those who know Greg, please don’t hold the fact that I consider him a friend against me. 😉 Anyway, Greg asked me to kick of a blog tour promoting Convergence and I’m happy to be a part.
To me, Convergence is fresh because you can buy the DVDs for $14.99 or download individual videos for only $3.99. I’m especially excited about the ability to download videos because the cost is low and it allows groups to “sew the shoe to fit the foot”, as it were. Often times a group will buy a curriculum that is good, but doesn’t quite address the unique needs of their group. “Convergence” allows you to browse individual sessions and download the videos that are best for your group! You can see the video download page here.
I’m also excited about this curriculum because of the contributors. Donald Miller is the host and he interviews great thinkers like Henry Cloud, Lauren Winner, and Phyllis Tickle. The content is insightful and the production value is high. My only criticism is that I tend to zone out from time to time because of the interview format (that’s the fault of my short attention span, though).
The first 25 of you who visit www.allthingsconverge.com from my post today (November 1, 2010) will get one free video download. You must enter the promo code Danielson to download your free video. It’s free, what are you waiting on?
Be sure to follow the blog tour promoting Convergence. You’ll be able to get more freebies and you’ll learn more about how this curriculum can help your groups. Tomorrow’s stop on the blog tour will be at Spence Shelton’s site: http://spenceshelton.wordpress.com/. Be sure to check it out!
